Summer Assistant - Admin Support (Māori Policy Team) (Fixed term - 12 weeks)

Te Tūranga - The Role:
Our Māori Policy Team (Te Amorangi) team provides strategic advice and leadership on Māori outcomes, relationship management and organisation integration of Te Ao Māori and we're needing some administrative support over the summer.
Join our team and provide administrative and coordination support for our teams work programme. If you are organised, proactive, and enjoy working with our community, we encourage you to apply for this role.
You’ll be joining the Strategic Engagement Group which incorporates Communications and Engagement and Te Amorangi.
Ngā Pūkenga, ngā wheako - Your Skills & Experience:
- Provide administrative support to Te Amorangi.
- Maintain records, databases and filing systems.
- Support project coordination and key actions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Ensure deadlines and administrative processes are met efficiently.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments and event management.
This position will be located in Whakatāne.

Our Toi Moana Summer Experience Programme has been running for more than 35 years because we believe one of the best ways to learn is on the job. Each year our Summer Assistants play an important role by supporting our teams and completing important pieces of work around the Bay of Plenty.
